RECAP: SQUAMISH PIRATES SPRINT CHALLENGE

Two Super Sharks swimmers waiting to race backstroke, Squamish Sprint Challenge

By Coach Octavian

Super Sharks swimmers attended the very first swim meet this summer at Squamish Pirates Sprint Meet on May 25th and 26th.

Both days were pouring and chilly, yet all swimmers have shown their best performances. For few young swimmers it was their very first swim meet. We did a buddy system, which had the senior swimmers taking care of the younger swimmers for marshalling to the race as well as making sure all the young swimmers did not miss any single event and reported to the coaches before and after their race.

Bell ringer prizes were given to the winner of each heat and some of our swimmers were be able to take some prizes during this meet. Overall it was a great swim meet for Super Sharks!

Let's keep it up for the next swim meet and hope our swimmers can reach their best time!
