RECAP: Burnaby Barracudas Grand Prix

We had incredible sunny, warm weather for this early June meet!

We are excited to share the highlights from our first heats/finals meet of the season at the Burnaby Barracudas Grand Prix. The weather was perfect with the sun shining bright! Our swimmers performed well, achieving numerous personal best times.

Event Highlights:

Drag Races: Random heats featured drag races, and the winners of these heats were rewarded with prizes, adding an extra layer of fun and competition to the meet.

Finalists: The top 8 swimmers from each division qualified for the finals held in the afternoon. We are proud to announce that many of our swimmers made it to the finals and delivered outstanding performances. They will be awarded ribbons for their placements. Congratulations to the following swimmers:

Emily Dang: 200 IM, 100 Fly

Alyssa Davies: 200 IM, 50 Free

Emily Mackinnon: 200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly

Avery McKnight: 200 IM, 50 Free, 100 Fly

Kathryn Medoro: 200 IM, 100 Fly

Anna Kolobova: 200 IM, 50 Fly

Kyla Davies: 50 Free

Nathan Davison: 100 Fly

Isaiah Chao: 100 Fly

We are incredibly proud of our swimmers' dedication and hard work. Their achievements at the Burnaby Barracudas Grand Prix are a testament to their perseverance and commitment to excellence.
