RECAP: NSWC MARLINS MEET

Super Sharks swimmers going head-to-head in the Fly

By Coach Andrew

Super Sharks swimmers attended the North Shore Winter Club meet on June 22nd and 23rd.

In this A/B meet format, swimmers were split into either group ‘A’ or ‘B’ based upon their entry times. Each event was a timed final, and every swimmer showcased their exceptional skill in their races. This was also some swimmers’ very first swim meet of the year and with the help of the coaches and senior swimmers, we were able to settle them in smoothly. These new swimmers blew our expectations out of the water after their debut swims! Keep it up, Super Sharks!

Congratulation for Division 1 Girls B Rachel Woolley who won NSWC Aggregate awards (the most points scored across all individual events).

We also had our Parents Relay with four of our parents, Mark, Jackie, Andrea & Owen, who had a great turnaround considering every other club had eight parents swimming! It was a highlight that was amazing for closing this meet.

There were lots of laughs and triumphs throughout the whole meet, and overall it was an amazing meet for Super Sharks. Let’s keep up the hard work and strive to reach new heights!
